Just come back from staying at Loire valley Llama farm for 3 nights with my 2 kids. We had the most amazing time. The kids absolutely loved being able to help on the farm and feed the animals. Trekking with the Llamas was lots of fun and a great experience. The food cooked by Sarah was lovely and Nigel was brilliant with the kids. We stayed in the barn which was so cosy. Already planning our next visit! Thank you so much for a lovely time and can’t wait to see you and all the animals again soon xx

Melissa Drury,

We are so glad we found this little gem!! We stayed in August for 3 nights as 2 families and absolutely loved it. Sarah and Nigel were fantastic hosts and very welcoming!! The children adored Nigel and were always off helping him with the animals!! They could not wait to get back to the campsite to help with jobs!! Sarah cooked a fantastic meal for all of us on our first night which was followed up with a superb breakfast the following morning. The bell tents were very well decorated and comfy. We will definitely be looking to book this place again!

Bev lougher-jones,

Wow, what can I say. What a wonderful place. The rooms was amazing, clean and spacious. We had a wonderful welcome very friendly. Very friendly dog. Made full use of the swimming pool it was a great way to cool off. We would recommend this place 1 million times over to friends and family and anyone who may ask. Our only problem is that we could only stop one night ( due to travelling down south). Hopefully another time we can spend a couple more nights here. 10 out of 10 doesn't seem enough for this place.

Emma Nicholls,

We arrived at Loire Valley Llamas after a long, hot journey, feeling tired and in need of a holiday. The moment that we arrived we felt both welcomed and relaxed: the tranquil setting, good company, pool, fantastic hosts together with the comfortable beds all contributed to an excellent holiday - not to mention the lovely area. Sarah and Nigel are immediately onto a ‘winner’ with the venue that they offer but it is in their care and attention to detail that the difference is made. Our children were enraptured by their daily escapades and ‘helping’ Nigel with his animals. They loved every minute of their holiday llama education and it is this that places our stay beyond our prior expectation.
We’re looking forward to going back next year and seeing how things have progressed even further. Thank you both for such effort and energy throughout.

Jamie Jones,

We had a lovely short stay at the Loire Valley Llama Farm in July en route to the Dordogne. Unfortunately the weather wasn’t on our side, but that actually added to the experience. Our 2.5 year old twins absolutely loved all the animals, including feeding the lovely llamas and goats and playing with the chickens and dogs. Staying in the bell tent is great fun too and was very cosy despite the rain/cold. Sarah and Nigel couldn’t be more welcoming and accommodating (especially with our boisterous toddlers!). On our first night when we arrived later than hoped, Sarah even whipped up a delicious meal for us with only two hours’ notice. We’d highly recommend this farm stay and our friends are already looking to come next year. Rustic, charming and perfect for kids. Thank you Sarah & Nigel.

Millie & Chris ,

Staying here in the beautiful valley is a wonderful experience, totally relaxing, and the bell tents are extremely comfortable and luxurious. We were warmly welcomed and thoroughly enjoyed both our llama trekking and also the other lovely woodland walks which are immediately available from the farm. Highly recommended for couples and families.

Susan Keefe,

We’ve stayed before (in the Bell tent) but this time we stayed in the Barn. It was marvellous. Extremely comfortable bed. Lovely and warm room (late November!). A table with kettle, tea/coffee/milk/bottles of water etc. Everything you need.

Sarah cooked a wonderful dinner and pudding for us (OMG, fantastic vanilla custard and crumble!!).

Totally recommend. Sarah and Nigel couldn’t be more helpful or welcoming.

Go stay and see for yourself.
